Curry leaf has potent Kapha-pacifying properties, therefore making it an optimum herb for reducing excess fat tissue while increasing the strength of the digestive fire and metabolism.
A hot infusion is the most beneficial carrier or Anupana of the curry leaf powder in pacifying the cold, damp and sluggish Kapha dosha. Between the hours of 6am-10am in the morning is a Kapha dominated time of day and therefore, this hot infusion is best taken during this time, before breakfast on an empty stomach.
It would be highly recommended, to further improve your results for weight loss, to exercise between these hours in the morning and have a warm, spiced and cooked breakfast. For example, my Poached Pear with Clove recipe would be an ideal choice.
